President John Dramani Mahama has reiterated his administration’s commitment to completing the construction of incomplete healthcare facilities across the country.
Speaking at the National Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, President Mahama emphasized, “We will prioritise investment in infrastructure and human resources to ensure accessible, quality medical care.”
He also assured that his administration will “continue abandoned health projects and operationalise them as key steps towards expanding healthcare access nationwide.”
This commitment comes in response to former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s appeal to complete the Agenda 111 projects, which aim to construct 111 hospitals across the country.
However, only three of these hospitals were completed by the previous government, but they remain non-operational.
President Mahama’s reaffirmation underscores his administration’s dedication to improving healthcare accessibility and quality nationwide, in line with his campaign promise to continue all abandoned projects in the country.
