President John Dramani Mahama has announced his first set of ministerial appointments, naming key figures to drive national development.
In a statement issued by the presidency, Dr. Ato Cassiel Forson has been nominated as Minister for Finance Designate. A seasoned economist and chartered accountant, Dr. Forson is expected to strengthen Ghana’s financial management and lead vital fiscal reforms.
John Jinapor, a renowned expert in energy economics and finance, has been nominated as Minister for Energy Designate. He is poised to address Ghana’s energy challenges and inject energy into the sector.
Dominic Ayine, a distinguished lawyer with over 30 years of experience, has been nominated as Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Designate. He is set to lead crucial changes in Ghana’s legal and judicial systems.
The nominations have been submitted to Parliament’s Appointments Committee for vetting and approval, in accordance with Article 78 of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana.
