
President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Victoria Emeafa Hardcastle as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Commission.
The appointment, made in accordance with Article 195(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 11(1) of the Petroleum Commission Act, 2011 (Act 821), is subject to the required advice from the Commission’s Board and consultation with the Public Services Commission.
The announcement was made in a statement issued by Dr. Callistus Mahama, Executive Secretary to the President.
The statement emphasized the President’s commitment to ensuring the Petroleum Commission effectively carries out its mandate.
