Dr. Dominic Ayine, the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, will meet with the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee next week to evaluate its progress in investigating suspected corruption and recovering looted public assets.
The ORAL Committee has received over 700 petitions from the public, marking a significant milestone in its mission to combat corruption. Dr. Ayine confirmed the meeting, stating that it will focus on assessing the information gathered and planning the next steps in the recovery process.
“The ORAL committee and I will be meeting somewhere early next week, most likely on Monday, and I will be briefed by them in respect of what they have gathered so far, and of course, I will take over the information that they have gathered,” Dr. Ayine said.
The meeting is expected to be instrumental in advancing the government’s anti-corruption agenda, ensuring accountability and transparency in the effort to reclaim public assets.
