A major shake-up has hit the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Pusiga Constituency, with six top executives suspended indefinitely over allegations of anti-party activities.
The suspensions, confirmed by a letter from Upper East Regional NPP Chairman Anthony Namoo, Esq., have sent shockwaves through the party’s ranks, sparking concerns about internal power struggles and dissent.
According to insiders, the suspended executives had been at odds with the party’s regional leadership, sparking tensions that ultimately led to their suspension.
The affected executives, who have been ordered to appear before the regional disciplinary committee, include:
– Awinimi Emmanuel, Constituency Communication Officer
– Belingumse Sawuda, 2nd Vice Chairman
– Haruna Salam, Assistant Secretary
– Kazussah Jacob, Treasurer
– Salifu Ibn Adam, Elections and Research Officer
– Iddrisu Kadiri, Deputy Nasara Coordinator
The suspensions have raised questions about the party’s ability to manage internal conflicts and maintain unity ahead of future elections.
