
President John Dramani Mahama has sworn in 13 new deputy ministers, tasking them to work diligently to support the government’s agenda.
The ceremony, held at the Jubilee House, followed the successful vetting and approval of the appointees by Parliament.
In his remarks, President Mahama urged the new deputy ministers to prioritize the interests of the Ghanaian people and work collaboratively with their sector ministers to implement government policies and initiatives.
“Your role is critical in supporting the government’s agenda, and I charge you to work with diligence and integrity,” President Mahama said.
The new deputy ministers include John Dumelo, who will support the Minister of Food and Agriculture, and Alhassan Suhuyini, who will work with the Minister of Roads and Highways.
Other appointees include Justice Srem-Sai, Deputy Minister of Justice and Attorney General; Ernest Brogya Gyenfi, Deputy Minister of Defence; and Thomas Nyarko Ampem, Deputy Minister of Finance.

The new deputy ministers are expected to hit the ground running, supporting their respective ministers in implementing government policies and initiatives.
