In a bold endorsement, Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga has hailed the 2025 budget as a shining example of the Mahama government’s unwavering commitment to fulfilling its campaign promises.
Speaking in the aftermath of Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson’s budget presentation to Parliament on Tuesday, March 11, Ayariga effusively praised the budget’s transformative potential.
“This clearly is a budget of a government and a party that keeps its promises. Almost every promise made by the Mahama government has been fulfilled in less than 120 days,” he stated.
Ayariga’s enthusiasm was palpable as he underscored the budget’s far-reaching benefits for ordinary Ghanaians.
“This budget is for Makola women, assembly men, girls, and school children. It delivers solid reforms and drives economic growth. By the time we finish implementing this budget, the elephant will be small—’osono b3y3 ketekete,'” he added, referencing the opposition party’s elephant symbol in a clear show of confidence.
The budget’s emphasis on economic reforms and growth is expected to have a profound impact on Ghana’s economy, and Ayariga’s glowing endorsement is a testament to the government’s dedication to delivering on its promises.
