In a move aimed at strengthening the country’s security apparatus, President John Dramani Mahama has appointed new heads for three key agencies.
The appointments, announced on Friday, March 14, see DDGP 3 Patience Baffoe-Bonnie taking the reins at the Ghana Prisons Service, DCFO Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sarpong leading the Ghana National Fire Service, and DCI Samuel Basentale Amadu becoming the new Comptroller General of the Ghana Immigration Service.
The new appointments come on the heels of COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno’s swearing-in as the new Inspector General of Police, marking a significant reshuffling of the country’s security leadership.
