
The Speaker of Ghana’s Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has been honoured as the Life Patron of the Kaleo Traditional Area Youth Development Association (KATYDA) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the development of the Nadowli-Kaleo District.
At a ceremony held in his honour, KATYDA praised Speaker Bagbin for his decades of dedicated service, highlighting his early days as a member of the Kaleo Parish Students Union (KAPSU) and his transformative leadership since entering politics in 1992.
“For 28 years, he has not only championed development in the district but has also been a compassionate leader, always attentive to the concerns of individuals and providing solutions beyond politics,” the association stated.
KATYDA pledged to continue celebrating Speaker Bagbin’s legacy, acknowledging him as an illustrious son of the land and a true pillar of youth development in the Kaleo Traditional Area.
