
A sudden illness has necessitated Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang’s seek for further medical treatment outside Ghana.
According to a statement from the Presidency, Professor Opoku-Agyemang was rushed to the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) on Saturday, March 29, after falling ill the previous day.
Following a thorough examination, medical experts have advised that she undergo specialized treatment abroad to ensure a full recovery.
The Presidency, in the statement signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Spokesperson to the President and Minister for Government Communications, assured the public that they will provide updates on her condition accordingly.
