The Ministry of Interior has issued a statement dismissing claims that certain individuals, including pastors, have been granted special privileges to bypass security checks.
According to the Ministry’s Public Affairs and Communications Unit, “these claims are baseless, entirely false and should be disregarded immediately.”
The Ministry emphasized its commitment to maintaining nationwide peace and security, ensuring equal protection for all citizens without discrimination. It warned that “misrepresentation for criminal activities or spreading false information, which undermines national security” will not be tolerated.
In a call to action, the Ministry urged citizens to remain vigilant, stating: “We urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.”
To prevent the spread of misinformation, the Ministry encouraged social media users and the public to verify information through official channels before sharing.
By reaffirming its commitment to transparency, the Ministry pledged to provide accurate updates on its operations and policies. In a statement, the Ministry noted that “by working together, we can ensure a safer and more informed community.”
