
The Ghana Police Service has been ranked as the most corrupt public organization in Ghana, according to a recent survey conducted by Global InfoAnalytics.
The survey, which was released on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, revealed that the Police Service topped the list with a score of 6.43, followed closely by the Immigration Service with a score of 5.86.
The Judiciary ranked third with a score of 5.78, indicating concerns about corruption within the legal system. Other institutions that featured prominently in the rankings include tax officials of the Ghana Revenue Authority, local government representatives, and business executives.
The survey also found that the Electoral Commission, traditional leaders, and Parliament were perceived as moderately corrupt. The Prison Service, Military, and Presidency scored lower, but still raised concerns among respondents.
Ministers and government officials received the lowest score of 4.61, indicating relatively less public concern about corruption in this category compared to others.
The survey’s findings are likely to spark concerns about corruption in Ghana’s public institutions.
