The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has vehemently dismissed allegations made by Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, suggesting the current administration’s involvement in drug-related activities.
Sammy Gyamfi, NDC National Communications Officer, described the claims as “outright falsehoods” and a desperate attempt to tarnish the government’s reputation.
Speaking on Joy News’ “News File” program today, Sammy Gyamfi condemned Rev. Fordjour’s allegations, stating, “A reverend minister has peddled outright falsehoods against the government and is now making a mockery of himself.”
Mr. Gyamfi reaffirmed the government’s commitment to upholding the rule of law and maintaining Ghana’s international reputation as a peaceful and law-abiding nation.
He urged the public to treat the allegations with contempt and called on responsible citizens and media outlets to join in defending the integrity of state institutions against unfounded attacks.
