The upcoming Kwahu Business Forum is a national initiative focused on promoting industrialization and entrepreneurship in Ghana. Chief of Staff Julius Debrah emphasized that the event, scheduled for Saturday, April 19, is not a politically motivated endeavor, but rather a development initiative driven by President John Dramani Mahama’s vision for Ghana’s economic growth.
“I don’t want us to look at it as a political thing,” Debrah stated, highlighting the need for unity and collaboration across party lines. “What the president wants to do is not about NDC or NPP. It’s something that is about Ghana,” he added.
Debrah revealed that he has reached out to opposition figures, including Hon. Bryan Acheampong, who have pledged to participate and contribute to the discussions.
“They will be there, and they will make statements to buttress the fact that this project must not be looked at as a political thing, but must be looked at as a national objective that we should all push,” he remarked.
The forum aims to create lasting opportunities for future generations and ensure Ghana reaps the benefits of sustainable industrial growth.
Hon. Debrah expressed optimism about the support from members of the opposition, emphasizing that the initiative is about Ghana’s development and its rightful place in industrialization.
