
The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the commencement of registration for 18,011 eligible nurses and midwives for the 2025/2026 national service year.
In a statement released on Thursday, April 17, 2025, the NSA called on qualified individuals to access their PIN codes on its official website, www.nsa.gov.gh, using their Student ID numbers and dates of birth.
The registration process, which opened on April 17, will close on April 23, 2025. Prospective service personnel are required to pay a registration fee of GH¢40.00 at any Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) branch or GH¢41.00 via MTN Mobile Money.
According to the NSA, national service is a legal obligation for all Ghanaian citizens aged 18 and above who have completed tertiary education, as mandated by the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119).
The Authority urged all eligible individuals to complete the registration process within the stipulated timeframe, warning that delays or complications may arise if the deadline is not met.
As the NSA stated, “All prospective service personnel are encouraged to complete the registration process within the stipulated timeframe to avoid any delays or complications.”
