
President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Matilda Asante-Asiedu as the Second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG).
The appointment, announced in a letter dated April 28, cites Section 17 of the Bank of Ghana Act, 2002 (Act 612).
Asante-Asiedu, a seasoned banker and corporate leader, brings extensive experience to the role. She previously served as Group Head of Retail Banking at Access Bank Ghana PLC.
Her credentials include an MBA in Marketing from GIMPA Business School, an MA in Journalism Studies from Cardiff University, and various executive programs from prestigious institutions like Oxford University’s Said Business School and the Wharton School.
With her impressive background and expertise, Asante-Asiedu is poised to make a significant impact at the Bank of Ghana.
