
President John Dramani Mahama will today, Monday, April 28, 2025, launch the Adwumawura programme in the Ashanti Region.
The programme aims to facilitate the creation of at least 10,000 businesses annually, with a focus on youth empowerment.
This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to address unemployment and fulfill its 120-day social contract. The Adwumawura programme is expected to drive economic growth and create jobs for Ghanaians.
Additionally, President Mahama will launch the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (Mahama Cares) and the National Apprenticeship Programme later this week. These initiatives are designed to improve healthcare and provide vocational training opportunities for citizens.
The launches are seen as a key step in the government’s efforts to improve the lives of Ghanaians and stimulate economic development.
