The Appointments Committee of Parliament will commence the vetting process for President John Dramani Mahama’s ministerial nominees from Thursday, January 23, to Monday, January 27, 2025.
The daily sessions, starting at 8:30 a.m., will take place in Committee Rooms 1, 2, and 3 of the New Administration Block.
The vetting process aims to thoroughly assess the qualifications, experience, and suitability of the nominees for regional ministerial roles and other key positions. This exercise is a crucial part of Parliament’s constitutional duty to ensure accountability and transparency in the selection of public officials.
To promote transparency, the Director of Media Relations has requested comprehensive media coverage of the event.
