As the New Patriotic Party (NPP) rebuilds ahead of the 2028 general elections, Deputy Communications Officer Ernest Owusu-Bempah has been tipped to run for the position of National Organiser.
According to political analyst Kwaku Ntow, Owusu-Bempah’s bold and fearless nature makes him an ideal candidate for the role.
“Ernest Owusu-Bempah is a straightforward person, very articulate, bold and fearless. We know the role he has played in Ghana’s politics, his role in the Let My Vote Count Alliance,” Ntow praised.
Owusu-Bempah’s experience with the Fixing the Country Movement and other pressure groups, combined with his strategic communication skills, are seen as major assets for the NPP’s future success.
“As the NPP seeks to rebuild following the heavy defeat in 2024, having him at the leadership level of the party will serve them well,” Ntow noted.
The NPP has established a committee to investigate the party’s 2024 election loss. Ntow urged the NPP leadership and supporters to cooperate with the committee and accept its findings in good faith.
