Former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta’s residence in Cantonments was raided by a group of individuals, including some dressed in military and police uniforms, on Tuesday afternoon.
Ofori-Atta was reportedly out of the country, receiving medical treatment in the U.S. since the beginning of 2025, after notifying the Chief of Staff.
According to Citinewsroom report, the raid, which involved around 12 individuals – five in military uniforms, one in a police uniform, and the rest in plain clothes – occurred while some family members, including Ofori-Atta’s wife, were present at the residence.
The motive behind the raid remains unclear, and authorities have not issued an official statement on the incident.
